netdisco requires a valid return value when it issues uptime(). however, that does not mean it has to be the standard. as long as uptime() returns a value netdisco accepts...
received the mib info link & accepted. i'll see if i can figure it out on my own, if not i'll ping you first if i need to share it...

this will most likely a class override to get some basic info out of it, but that won't really do what you want i think. if devices have custom mibs...
in recent netdisco releases a better effort is made to manage topologies where either certain parts of the neighbor info differ or where 1 neighbor didn't bother replying to cdp/lldp....
