EDMC Overlay won't allow Geforce Experience filters to work

The filters for Geforce Experience do not work with EDMC overlay and says "A Supported game is required to use this feature"

Hmm, I've never used those and I do have a Nvidia card.

I've found a workaround: you can start EDMC after starting Elite and Nvidia will recognize the game as it isn't looking at the overlay window for its filters.
