the website no longer works!!!!
I keep seeing "too many redirects" when I load www.quakejs.com. It happens over 50% of the time I try to play the game and doesn't seem to matter which web browser I use. I tried Google Chrome and Edge.
My hunch at the cause is related to an experience I had leading to similar error messages. I ran into similar messages when I configured redirects poorly on one of the websites I was developing. On my sites, the problem was related to bad configuration of redirects from http to https. DNS configuration mistakes might also cause it.
Hmm, looks to me Inolen has lost the quakejs.com domain, and its now exploited by some other group. Feels a bit like that Russian site related to some q3a nightmare mod ... or something.
(no wonder the players on some other q3a server dropped down to a handful diehards.)
WDYM? The website is running fine, I've been rolling out a new release, perhaps you caught it during an update.
@inolen yes I see the site working now with a bunch of changes.
Notice the dates on these comments. My last comment on this issue was from February 2025. I don't see what I commented about happening now.
I'm not the person who posted the issue so I can't speak for DaMostWanted2210.
