Infinity pop up "Readonly Filed"

Open hyunkim9123 opened this issue 8 years ago • 7 comments

Getting Infinity pop up "Readonly Filed" when selecting "Group Access ID" field from http://127.0.0.1/inoERP/inoerp/form.php?class_name=user_group_access&mode=9 . I know it is not expected to be focused but should pop up the alert only once.

It's a read-only field. You can't enter any information. Whenever you click on any read-only field , you will get that message.

I do understand the intended behavior. However, once the pop up is up, I cannot proceed anything on the page before checking "prevent this page from creating additional dialogs" . Also, the other readonly fileds does not have the same alert behavior.

Tested again. No such issue. The system is not showing that message at all until I click on the read-only field. Share a screenshot of the steps you are following

Once you click the read-only field, you will see the pop-up appears and cannot do anything before clicking the check box "prevent this page from creating additional dialogs" . Maybe error message next to the read-only textbox is better than alert. For example, if a user selects the read-only field and wants to do move the focus, cannot do anything. It is up to you to fix the behavior or not, but I think it is really inconvenient.

As I said, send me a screenshot showing the steps you are doing as I can't replicate it. Btw, which version are you using? Genuine issues (not issues due to incorrect user training) will be always fixed. " It is up to you to fix the behavior " was unnecessary. That does not sound good. So, choose your words carefully in a public platform.

My apologizes it causes misunderstanding, I did not mean anything other by wording. If you think the the behavior is normal, you can leave it as it is (and close the issue ticket probably) since it is not critical thing. . the version I tested is the most recent one in the master branch. Take a look the screenshot.

The thing I feel inconvenient is that the message ups infinitely after I click "ok"
