Pattern not removing the stitches underneath

I was playing with some patterns on this svg i created 5 rectangles and did a combine and then used the tiling path effect and got a result like in the image what is in the svg and there atre different sections on a row or a colom what did not remove the stitches

So i am asking on how can i solve this issue or is it bug what needs adjusting
