inkscape freezes when saving pes macbook
Hi,
My MacBook updated to a new operating system, Sonoma. Now I'm not running Monterey anymore. Everything was working fine until then. Every time I'm saving a PES file for my embroidery machine, it's freezing, and I have to force stop. Do more people have these issues? Do I need to downgrade back to Monterey
I'm not a Mac user so I'm just going by what I've seen others deal with but: have you done the Rosetta installation? https://inkstitch.org/docs/install-macos/#inkstitch-doesnt-run--is-greyed-out
I have a fresh installation on Monterey and I'm having a hang/Force Quit situation every time I try to do anything. I have an svg I imported from Illustrator. Trying to save hangs, "troubleshoot objects" hangs, simulator hangs. I'm trying to find a known-good svg file to play with to see if it's maybe something with my file, but in the meantime, everything is resulting in "Not Responding."

I'm having a similar issue and in my case, I'm running it on an Intel mac (i7) and the software appears to run. Terminal says Rosetta can't be installed on this system.

I didn't solve the issue but now I know what happens.. when. i use in params the option Contour fill the whole program freezes when saving. I also can't run Contour fill in Params. So i'm not using Contour fill
