[Bug] Inky randomly doesn't show chunks of text that contains non-ASCII characters
Hi, inkle!
I've noticed that in new Inky version there is some problem with showing text if it contains non-ASCII characters (I was using Cyrillic but it works with diacritic letters too). All that you can see in video attached.
I'm really struggling to explain how to "get" this bug, because I, frankly, can't get the logic behind what's happening. It doesn't happen every time, it fixes itself if I'm changing the length (for example, I can delete some letters/words and the text block will reappear), sometimes it shows within first choice but not the second one. The only constant I found out – if there are no non-ASCII characters, it's not reproducible.
Also, some important things to note:
- I've tested this in previous Inky release build... and everything's okay there.
- I've made an html build in 1.0 – everything works as it should So, I guess, it's a "new Inky" bug and only. Haven't checked Windows version, though.
I'm copying this bizarre test too. The only thing – for some reason bug doesn't appear until you write any letter inside the text block. (And don't delete this č!) Hoping I'm not mad and that's not some exclusive problem that happens only (in my mind) on my computer.
Testing some interesting bug
