When it comes to update, I think the Verizon should be bumped to 1.8.2, as there are many improvements collected since last version announce. After, obviously, fixing the "bug" with, theoretically, possible out of bounds write and update some new codecs. I have some prepared already but it seems like no-one is in charge at the moment.
