Relation software-ICE and software-Material entity

Background: SWO currently uses is_manufactured_by to relate a software-ICE to a company, while the is_manufactured_by relation originally relates independent continuant to a company.

JM: So what is the relation between software the ICE and software the material entity?

AR: ice concretized_as some quality that inheres_in material entity Chris thinks we should have a shortcut relation but we don't as yet.

JM: So the relation between the classes we have in SWO and organization is "is_authored_by"?

AR: I think it's rather complicated, to be honest. Authoring is done by many people who are employed in some way by the organization. I don't know what the right relation should be.

I think we do know that the organization manufacturers (in the OBI sense) the material entity. Working through existing relations we have Microsoft is_manufacturer_of CD that bears quality that is concretization of ICE. So a property relating the two is the composition of

is_manufacturer_of o bears o concretization

Thought this isn't universal, because when you make a copy on, e.g., another CD, we also have something that bears o concretization and it isn't manufactured by Microsoft.
