This is something we can consider for 2.0 and the Giraffe library.

Refining the request as i think it might be possible to consider stacking a property to toggle in the costomize area of visualization types which support it. iE, step plot might just as well be available as stacked and unstacked.

Stacked line layer exists along with step interpolation.

A stacked bar chart does not exist yet. Still valid and pending.

@russorat - I do NOT recommend blocking usage dashboard on a new visualization type given the length of development times on new visualization types. I recommend @corriganjohn redesign the usage modules with an existing visualization type.
