Cannot add notifications launcher shortcut

In Facebook, tap notifications. Now from the left panel, tap add launcher shortcut. We see the okay hand signal pop up. However there is no shortcut added to our home screen in the launcher. Maybe it is because we already have a main Faceslim shortcut already. Android 8.0.
