Nick command doesn't work over SSL

When connecting over SSL it seems /nick has no effect. However "/raw nick" works. The network I'm using is PonyChat (irc.ponychat.net:6600). Also when disabling SSL (and using port 6667) the command works.

I'll definitely look into this, thanks. It looks like a problem with queues.
