copy doesn't work

I'm on the latest f-droid version, and copy doesn't copy. The previous contents remain in the clipboard.

I'm aware. The F-Droid version 2.1 shouldn't have been (It's only a beta).

This will actually be implemented soon.

I'd like to add that being able to select which part of a line to copy was very nice in 1.9, I would miss it if it's removed in future versions.
