ASI EFW driver is not longer selectable after apt upgrade. There is a ZWO EFW driver but this does not work:

asi_indi_wheel seems still to be present, but not available within ekos:

I just build the indi-asi driver from 2.0.5 tag and the EFW works (ASI EFW)

pmneo avatar Feb 25 '24 08:02 pmneo

Using ZWO EFW with 2.0.5 does also not recognize the Filter Wheel

pmneo avatar Feb 25 '24 08:02 pmneo

Next test: binaries from 2.0.6. with /usr/share/indi/indi_asi.xml from 2.0.5 does also work ... ( ASI EFW is selectable ), but ZWO EFW does NOT work

I'll check locally but there were no reports that this driver does not work since the release.

Well I can reproduce with both of my gears ...Am 25.02.2024 17:43 schrieb Jasem Mutlaq @.***>: I'll check locally but there were no reports that this driver does not work since the release.

@knro any updates here?

pmneo avatar Mar 06 '24 17:03 pmneo

I tested locally and I couldn't reproduce the issue :(

Best to remove any references to ASI since we removed all of that in INDI. Perhaps we can arrange remote check.

knro avatar Mar 06 '24 18:03 knro

Okay, we can check this remotely.

How do you like to arrange this?
