1.8: Note field is not persisted in user profile

Currently the Note field is the registration form is visible in the user request but is not persisted in user profile afterwards. In some use cases, it could be used to convey some important information that you may want to see persisted in the user profile. It'd be good to have an (optional) possibility to do it.
