Indiewebify.me - a Guide to Getting You on the Indieweb
In light of recent comments for individuals trying to get started with Indieweb, suggesting the copy/text on this page be reviewed.
The best way to do this is to present it to an individual at an HWC and see what confuses them.
Any suggestions for improving the copy on indiewebify.me are happily accepted, especially if they’ve been tested in-person with a beginner!
My goal is to keep the copy on indiewebify.me to an absolute minimum, with plenty of links to the wiki, so if in doubt, improve copy on the wiki first and then link to it from indiewebify.me with a short, clear sentence which explains what it tells the user more about and (if required in context) why they would want to know more about that.
The comment was prompted by what occurred last week during an HWC meeting when several attendees were trying to help beginners get started from the WordPress side.

It made me realize, overall...that despite how straightforward we think it is, we need to adapt based on what questions newcomers ask, and I wanted to bring it to the forefront as something for people to take on.
