Timetable: allow session blocks to be moved between days
This is currently not possible and it's quite frustrating for users. We could even use something like the "move" option we have for contributions.
Can't we just reuse the move dialog? (a bit simplified to have only days as targets since you can't nest session blocks)
We just got a complaint by one of our power users about this missing feature in Indico 2, too. Will it be included soon?
We plan to implement this for the v3.4 release (sorry, unfortunately that will almost certainly be too late for your event :/).
I suggest unscheduling the contributions (removing them from the timetable - if it's a conference event they won't be deleted buy simply unscheduled), and then re-scheduling them in the session block on the correct date. It's a bit more work for you, but not too bad since the 'add contribution' dialog only shows contributions from the correct session when you are editing a session block timetable.
just to be sure I understand it properly...should I delete the Bloch timetable? what does it mean to unscheduling? and do you refer to the Bloch or single contribution? Thank you!
