touch gestures not recognized from separate touch pad in Chrome OS

I checked the touch gestures for the first time (never recognized this, although its there since 2018 according the change log)

my Chrome OS setup is somewhat special: ChromeBOX on an non-touch monitor with a keyboard and an Apple Magic Trackpad 2 / AMTP (because I like the Chrome OS touch gestures)

although all the nice 2,3,4 touch gestures work on the AMTP, SUG does not make a difference between a mouse and an AMTP gesture i defined L for the mouse as "Back" and L for the touch pad as "Options": SUG however does "Back" only for both the mouse and the AMTP stroke

I do not have an desktop Chrome Browser on a touch device, so I cannot test this. I assume, that mouse and touch are handled differently by SUG on a "normal" touch ChromeBOOK.

is there support (planned) for the 2,3,4 finger multi touch gestures?
