Notes Occasionally Having All Content Removed

Open bonedaddy opened this issue 4 years ago • 6 comments

I'm not sure what the problem is but occasionally I'll go to view notes I haven't visited in awhile, and they will be missing content. The previous revisionss are still there and I can restore to them, but nevertheless before restoring they will be missing content.

I have trilium server installed on my laptop, trilium server installed on a raspberry pi 4, and my laptop using the rpi4 as a sync server.

Hi, thanks for reporting this issue. That sounds pretty bad ...

by "missing content" - is it that the note is now completely empty, it's missing part of the text or perhaps it corresponds to an older revision?

So far I've experienced two conditions:

  • complete missing note
  • partially missing note

All of this information will be contained in a previous revision however

I have reproduced the issue. I wrote something and went to watch some videos. After a while I come back and the notes are lost.

They're not 'lost' but reverted to a very early version.

Are you using 0.58.8? There's a fix in 0.59.0-beta. See https://github.com/zadam/trilium/issues/3584

Thanks! I don't recall but it's not a prerelease version. So I'll give it a shot. Tyvm!
