Add tip to use custom fonts in Quarto.

Open olivroy opened this issue 2 years ago • 2 comments

Add a tip on how to use custom fonts with Quarto and Rmd documents.

Without those, custom fonts are not rendered in Qmd or Rmd documents (at least on Windows, so I thought it would be interesting to mention this here)

Change link to edit this page to the repo!

I would suggest also to add the link to the github homepage https://z3tt.github.io/graphic-design-ggplot2 in the about section image

Also a typo that I caught on the fly I prefer to dave -> I prefer to save

Thanks for your notes on the WIP version. Actually, how to use non-default fonts when rendering notebooks is not related to gggplot2 per se but I can see why it could be helpful. Thanks also for your suggested changes, I'll review them and see if it makes sense to me.

As this is a very rough draft, I haven't added the link to the webpage in the about session on purpose.

I wrote these here mostly for myself I guess. You find some many advice online. I only trust yours when it comes to using custom fonts. And I always forget about this.

I understand this is WIP, but it still is very helpful!
