I'm having this issue too. Installing the latest .NET 6 SDK and restarting OmniSharp did not fix it.

It looks like this issue may be caused by placing the `SKCanvasView` inside a `StackLayout`. Placing it directly inside a `ScrollView`, while of course doesn't scroll, does fire the `PaintSurface`...

This seems like reasonable enough behavior, but what's odd to me is that not all platforms behave the same. The WinUI target works without setting `args.Handled`, but Android does not....
