Cannot receive successive messages

Two successive Recv's will not succeed. Send'ing and Recv'ing must alternate, which is obviously less than ideal :-).

I'm not master of XMPP. Would you please give me suggestion or code?

I looked through your code and couldn't find an assumption made anywhere that would clearly lead to this odd reqult, so yeah, maybe it's an issue in working with the protocol. I'll let you know if I have a more helpful suggestion (or a pull request).

This issue is 11 years old, and there was no reply whether this is still an issue for half a year so I'm going to close this.
