Add the capability to display & modify current song's user rating

If possible, please display "my ratings" next, or in place, of the Thumbs Up button as sequence of stars (5 stars, each rating unit counting as half). Both song and album ratings should be supported.

+1. There is currently an interface for Song Rating - when Editing a song I see this:

however, changing the rating there and then clicking "Save" produces no result - the value isn't saved. Reopening the same song after clicking save shows again a zero value. Also, monitoring the database (I use MySQL as backend) shows the value is not changed in the DB.

I know Kodi is able to change this value, because I can set the value using Kodi's GUI in the TV, and I can also set it using Remote control Apps like Yatse and Music Pump - which means that the JSON API for this works well, and it's just the Web Interface that has the problem. Hoping that this can be fixed.

How I wish Kodi supported user rating cleanly and didn't rely on excellent research into cryptic features like @arigit had to do. In any large audio collection we would love to see a way in Kodi, Kore and Chorus2 to quickly rate songs we hear and find them again by rating.
