The error tooltip in the code editor does not stay visible

In the video attached below you will see the error tooltip come up 5 times:

first time works as expected and only disappears when I move the mouse
second time it flickers and disappears a fraction of a second after it appears without me moving the mouse
third time works as expected and only disappears when I move the mouse
fourth time works as expected and only disappears when I move the mouse
fifth time it flickers and disappears a fraction of a second after it appears without me moving the mouse

Adw 1.4.0
GTK 4.12.3
GLib 2.78.1
Flatpak 1.15.4

Yeah it's very annoying, I didn't have time to dig and I'm not sure where to start. Any help here is appreciated :pray:

Hmm I agree that this is annoying. Are there any other pointers (i.e. is that fixable) or is it a purely GTK issue

Ok so this seems to be fixed for me with Workbench 46 (was affected) and GNOME 46. I'm using Fedora 40.

Can anyone else confirm?

Seems to be fixed for me with Workbench 46.1-4126d00, GNOME 46 running Fedora 41
