If someone is looking for a way to disable scheduled renewals and other actions with WooCommerce Subscriptions temporarily, what's the probability their search will bring them to this plugin?

Zero. The probability is precisely zero. 😆

However, that's a valid use case and something we should a way to address. While the code here can be used for that use-case, it's neither clear from the plugin's name or README.md that is the case.
