Local filesystem sync: Can't select directory
I have an Org folder in /storage/0/ that I'd like to use for storage (sync'd using Syncthing).
When I select local sync in the setup wizard, I see an empty dir, with no obvious way to select a different directory:

I'm not sure if this is something peculiar to my device, which is Android 6.0.1, with an SD card "adopted" as device storage.
Follow-up to #23.
I have the same problem on android 7.0.1 (cm 14.1). I can't create new to-do entries. I can't create new sub directories.
I think the problem is that it didn't asked permission to access filesystem.

Settings - applications I turned that on Now it works for me
Thanks @bclermont! So it looks like adding a permission request at that point in the setup wizard is needed?
I am looking at it and indeed it seems that starting from Android 6, the permission mechanisms changed. It explains why I saw no problem testing on my Android 5 phone. I'll fix that asap.
I have the same issue -- Galaxy Tab S2
I have a beta version with the fix. People willing to help me to test the fix (since I don't have an Android 6 or 7 phone) can send me a mail and I'll add them to the Beta test list. This way your version will always be up to date the beta version I am testing.
@wizmer I'm seeing several issues in Setup Wizard with the beta version:
- The first time I press the "org files directory" button, I am able to browse directories, but subsequently (until I uninstall the app and reinstall) I see an empty directory with no way to navigate up.
- crash when touching "select folder"
- some other crashes in the wizard too
