I got scared by the commit https://github.com/witheve/Eve/commit/005c4787699ad4afdc6eec4bd0eb6cf7cb0d8d97 telling Eve 0.3 alpha won't be developed any further.

What's the current project status and how will/could the future look like? Any plans?

I haven’t checked in on this project in a couple months but I do know what happened to 0.3 alpha: the Eve team is working on a brand new version that’s a quantum leap ahead (rewritten in Rust, too) and it isn’t ready for prime time so they’re working on it in a private repo (invite only). Yes, like I said, the Eve team is no more. That means nothing is being developed. They ran out of funding.

I entered eve's website, got completely sold on the idea, and came here to see it's discontinued. Any hopes of it coming back?
