NET_ERR_IF_LINK_DOWN in NetSock_TxDataTo() when using UDP syslog example

Hi, I'm using the Datagram Client (UDP Client) from this page Although I get NET_ERR_IF_LINK_DOWN when calling NetSock_TxDataTo. All previous calls return with no error. net_sock.c is version V3.04.06

Does anybody know how to solve this?
