I take it this means that the AppImage building tools you're using were upgraded between 2.7.1 and 2.7.3?
FYI for me, upgrading to 0.99.4 as supplied upstream at http://fbreader.org/content/fbreader-beta-linux-desktop has solved this issue. Too bad distributions are slow to adopt it.
