Soil samples are hard to assemble because of 1. Very high bio-diversity (too many microorganisms) and a lot of them are sequenced at very low depth 2. Some dominant microorganisms...
You can just replace https://github.com/voutcn/megahit/blob/7dde1cae4dfa8ced0a9bd524894df36e9cd4185b/src/utils/cpu_dispatch.h#L8-L34 with ``` inline bool HasPopcnt() { return false; } inline bool HasBmi2() { return false; } ``` I don't have an Arm machine to test....
I think the error has nothing to do with ARM. One `*.edges.info` file is broken for some unknown reason. Could you retry?
It is doable but I do not plan to upgrade the package recently because I can only put some of my spare time to maintain this package. Will revisit this...
About three years ago I tried to assemble a viral genome using >1000x reads and resulted in very fragmented contigs. Extremely high coverage means there are sequences errors everywhere. My...
Sorry for the late reply. Could you send me the log file?
Interesting. Could you show me the two sequences and the k used?
The two sequences do not share any common k-mers, and I doubt why they are connected. Did you use megahit_toolkit's fasta2fastg to generate the graph?
No idea why this happened. You could confirm whether it is running with Linux tools like `htop` or `top`. Nonetheless, I recommend using the latest version. V1.0.4 is too old.
Looks like the same issue as #257 Sorry for the late reply. Could you send me the log file?
