Have it installed and it shows the correct number of what its set to but it doesn't proceed to changing. How to fix?

ifi gryphon, output to the ifi. playing music from apple music app streamed.

do you mean you are 'streaming' from Apple Music or are you 'streaming' from Apple Music to the Gryphon streamer-dac? (ie, via bluetooth)

Its connected via usbc. The music is streamed from apple music.

any chance it's set to default device and not the dac? (and its switching the wrong device, hence the right number showing but not changing what you want)

A screenshot of Audio MIDI Setup would be nice too.
