When opening the Budgie Raven sidebar, there is a transparent bar next it, only shown with the ChromeOS theme (I use the compact variant, however it also appears for me with the standard one).

go to Budgie Desktop Settings, disable use built-in theme

Sorry it took me so long, however that is not a fix, it is a workaround, since I want the built-in theme to be used, due to ChromeOS-theme making the raven sidebar unnecessarily huge (wide).

In any case, I have seen the same issue with some other themes, including themes from the Solus repos (currently after a reinstall, so have yet to install ChromeOS-theme again), so am bringing this up with the Budgie devs.
