This app is detected by Google as Malicious software
This might not be a bug, but for unknown reasons, utterance is detected by Google as a malicious software. My website jyutping.org uses utterance, and Google Ads just banned it for having malicious links and software. I was confused and asked Google why. They replied:
I searched through my codes and the only reference I can find is the <script src="https://utteranc.es/client.js" in my html. So this utteranc.es is a malicious link?
I'm happy to help any way I can, everything looks fine on my end:

Ask them if there's another verification process I need to follow for https://utteranc.es
@jdanyow Thanks! Actually it looks the same from my end too. But according to Google's explanations here, a site may still contain malicious link even the search console doesn't report any problem:

I have scheduled a call with Google ads support next week, and will post updates here if I have any new information.
I just talked to google ads support, they say that they do not have the expertise to determine why this link is recognized as a malicious link. I was very confused and asked why they tag it as malicious if they don't have the expertise? The support said the analysis is done by another team and according to Google's policies they don't provide any other information. The support said she recommend to find a webmaster to analyze the webpage so as to find out why it is malicious. Here is a follow-up email from them after our call:
I am not sure if I should go ahead to hire a webmaster or simply remove utterance from my site. Please feel free to close this issue.
The support said she recommend to find a webmaster to analyze the webpage so as to find out why it is [considered] malicious [according to Google's unknown criteria].
That sounds like an impossible problem to me.
I understand the value of security by obscurity, but you are trying to help Google by showing them that their malicious website classifier is incorrect, and they don't seem to care.
