Hi, this app and background repository seems very useful. but i could not test the app. I got error message "Connection to server was unsuccessful"

I tried with google play store app as well as I installed this repository and deployed the build on my phone. Along with this repo I had run your node js server and configured the app to send data to my server. But still the same error "Connection to server was unsuccessful" .

I need context on this error. Is this generated from Javascript? Cordova CLI? adb logcat? I have no idea where this came from.

This is not a Plugin error. This is an error from Cordova.

Thanks @christocracy I'll try run the app in debug mode for more info. But the same message I got on the app that I had downloaded from the play store.

One more thing is it necessary to give the unique user id as github id, I remember now that I had given some random name.

Any string username that makes sense for an http /endpoint

I installed the sample app from play store today without incident.
