The file is created by the script and replaced by the script. Back up config.plist with the Finder/Duplicate command. Script does not touch that file.

Without the diagnostic files, no clue. Note: even if the script ran, Laptop 892 audio is different than Desktop 892 audio, The cloverALC solution will not work on your laptop....
