Unable to install on Yosemite (UniBeast) 10.10.3

Open kirill-aga opened this issue 10 years ago • 4 comments

Hi toleda,

Looks like Yosemite's native AppleHDA.kext no longer has Info.plist file in the package, so your installation script does not work:

Sample output:

File: audio_realtekALC-100.command_v1.0.4b
Verify kext-dev-mode=1 boot flag/argument
Password:
Print: Entry, ":CFBundleShortVersionString", Does Not Exist
Error occurred, no S/L/E/AppleHDA.kext installed
No system files were changed
To save a Copy to this Terminal session: Terminal/Shell/Export Text As ...

Cheers, Kirill

Info.plist is hidden, not missing. Clean install or install over existing?

Clean install or (after failed MultiBeast install) install over 'vanilla' kext, extracted from official Yosemite InstallApp by Pacifist.

I've checked manually the content of vanilla AppleHDA.kext (10.10.3) using command line/Terminal, there is neither Info.plist file inside nor any other hidden files (beginning with dot '.').

I can confirm this. Clean Installed Yosemite 10.10.3 using UniBeast. This is the first thing I'm running (or installing) on the OS.
