Muffling bass

Well the title says it all. I have installed the audio_CloverHDMI on my and card and on Intel onboard (I am using the card). Though it works good it distorts in the bass. What is wrong?

I (partially I think) solved the problem by slightly reducing the audio from youtube

macOS does not touch a single bit on the the digital audio stream, passthrough only.
