[PC Engine] Differences in timbre between Furnace and VGMPlay output

pce.zip - Furnace module and VGM output. Aside from the fact E5xx stops it's phase at the 4 last notes, it sounds vastly different in vgmplay.

VGMPlay apparently uses Ootake. I'll take a look later.

ah, I mean new libvgm-vgmplay. I thought it uses MAME, but who knows

Pick your outcome, depending on the core set in VGMPlay.ini:

  • Ootake core: Not fixable. Phase never resets.
  • MAME core: Fixed, but the PWM is intense (maybe MAME bug?).

Yeah, libvgm-based VGMPlay still has that old Ootake core...
