Conversations message view ignores/can't recognize attachment of encrypted e-mail
- Thunderbird version: 102.8
- Thunderbird Conversation version: 4.0.26
- Operating System: Arch Linux x64
What did you do? I have received an encrypted (S/MIME) e-mail with an attachment.
What did you expect to happen? I have expected to see the attachment in the Conversations message view (I have "I love attachments" and "Show All Body Parts" enabled).
What actually happened? There was no attachment in the Conversations message view, despite the attachment symbol in the respective column. I could reach the attachment only over the "view using the classic reader" option.
Possibly a resurgence of https://github.com/thunderbird-conversations/thunderbird-conversations/issues/1524
I have exactly the same issue with PGP-signed Messages. Attachements are only shown over the "view using the classic reader" option.
Same issue here with PGP signed and encrypted emails.
Unfortunately I have the same problem. I don't see the attachments when I receive a S/MIME signed mail.
Same issue here TB115.8.1 32bit. All of the italian PEC is without attachment. I am sorry to have to disable this addon.
Thank you for commenting, but generally there's no need for "me too" style comments - they are just spamming unnecessarily. We know that encryption is very broken at the moment - see the pinned issue #2006. Unfortunately I haven't had much time recently and it is taking a lot to figure out how to get it working correctly.
