Retaking courses is sometimes necessary for some students. Maybe only validate duplicate courses for individual terms?

Hmm... that's possible. I did consider that when implementing the check, but opted for not allowing it. My reasoning was that with a lot of courses across all boards, it's easy to forget if you've already added a course. Also, you could just choose one term to place it in if you did retake a course. What sort of use case would you see allowing duplicate course across separate terms?

We can have a modal letting users know that the course is already in their schedule, but still allow them to pick it if they want.
