Hello,

I'd like to integrate this into weechat, but I'm having a hard time figuring out the external API of hangups, and no doubt other people too.

It'd be nice to have documentation that's not reading the code.

For what it's worth, you might want to check pickups which uses hangups.

There's also list of projects using hangups in the readme that you could use as examples until we have more documentation.

@rhg Did you end up making progress on this? I would assume that using pickups can be quite fragile.. Or did it work out?

Following #283 there's now some more reference documentation.

@rhg did you ever get anywhere with a weechat plugin? Having this would liberate hangups from dealing with UI-related issues...
