retina images are not correctly scaled on iOS 7

Retina images like the back button and the right arrow are not correctly scaled and look distorted on iOS 7. This can be seen in the Demo when viewed in Mobile Safari. Additional !important declarations are required in the CSS on iOS 7 in order for the background-size to be correctly applied.
