The rbacmanager api version has not changed. I was referencing the objects that rbac-manager creates, not the rbacdefinition CRD.

For this particular project, I have a temporary workaround since we're only in the POC phase. I'll probably want to test without the workaround in 2-3 weeks if possible.

@jbartosik Goldilocks does use VPA, but can you clarify what "plan VPA" means in this context?

Goldilocks uses upstream VPA with zero modification.
