Add built-in support for the Optima pattern matching library.

Why not Trivia? Optima will be superseded by it once some last bits of compatibility are implemented. It has long had features Optima doesn't have, and is extensible unlike Optima. In particular, this very issue might be easier to resolve with Trivia. The question is not rhetorical; I wonder if there's a lack of exposition.
