Using smart-knobs combine with user defined knobs

Hey,

While working with this add on and looks like there is no option to use in combine with user defined knobs (like without using this add on).

Is it possible? if not why not ?

I'm not really sure if this is possible. It should be, definitely. This project is a proof of concept, if you find how to fix it I would most certainly accept a pull-request.
