Proposal: Use AWS AppSync for API

Updating the tutorial to show how to use AWS AppSync for the API instead of the REST API would take this to the next level. Including being able to setup and configure AppSync via Serverless Framework for multi-environment deployments!

Ah yeah we've been excited about AppSync as well. It's definitely something we'll take a look at for adding to the tutorial.

I got the following message in AWS Console while trying to create Cognito Identity Pool while following these steps Screen Shot 2019-07-28 at 6 48 13 PM

AWS also recommends using AppSync over Cognito Sync

Hmmm we aren't really using Cognito Sync as a part of this tutorial. I think we can ignore that message for now. Most likely we'll have AppSync as a separate section in the guide.
