UE unable to detect network with Benetel 650 and srsRAN 7.2

Open jshacke opened this issue 6 months ago • 0 comments

I'm encountering an issue where the UE is unable to detect the network when using a Benetel 650 radio with the srsRAN 7.2 stack. Below is a summary of the configuration and logs that I have for troubleshooting.

Steps to Reproduce:

Configure the Benetel 650 with the attached configuration. Launch the srsRAN 7.2 stack with the configuration provided. Try to connect a UE to the network, but it fails to detect the network.

Behavior: The UE fails to detect the network, and no connection is established.

Configuration: Attached are the configuration files for both the Benetel 650 radio and the srsRAN stack. Some key details of the setup:

Band: 77 Downlink ARFCN: 650112 Subcarrier spacing: 30 kHz Channel bandwidth: 100 MHz PCI: 1 PRACH config: Index 7, Root sequence index: 1 PLMN: 00101 AMF Address: 10.53.1.2 CU-CP IP: 192.168.162.10

Logs: I've attached the gnb.log from the srsRAN stack, which contains some information about the network setup process. Along with the config file for SRS and the config file which is on the Benetel 650 --- Key log entries include:

Successful connection with the AMF (10.53.1.2). CU-CP and CU-UP started successfully. Open fronthaul interface started successfully. Various warnings about late downlink C-Plane and U-Plane messages in the transmitter queue. However, despite these logs indicating that the setup is mostly successful, the UE is still unable to detect the network.

Additional Notes:

The log mentions several warnings related to late downlink messages and possible interference between PRACH and PUCCH resources. I’ve verified the physical connections and hardware, and they appear to be functioning normally.

I would appreciate any guidance on troubleshooting this issue
