Hey @cdown -- thanks for the offer! I'm actually not sure if this issue needs to be addressed at all, like you said your library is already quite forgiving. I mainly have this issue open as a reminder for myself to check on some cases for which I remember the srt file being in really bad shape, and to assess if it even makes sense to try for recovery in such cases. If I'm able to find them, I'll send you some examples -- very well could be that there's nothing to be done here, though.
