It's Rust. There's Rust for esp32. As for snapcast, it's an older and more mature project. That aside, I'd bet Bark is capable of much lower latencies.

Hi all! Just tested out the changes suggested in the above comments and they work fine. Is it okay to ask why they didn't become part of the code?
