Good day!

Right now there is a great instruction for HCLOUD: https://www.talos.dev/v1.6/talos-guides/install/cloud-platforms/hetzner/

Unfortunately, it is not the optimal setup - it uses public addresses for joining worker nodes to the cluster. I'd like to propose a change and make an alternative scenario with the workers located in private network. I am working on it and would be happy to make a PR when the configuration will be tested.

A PR would be appreciated!

@gecube I've actually been fighting trying to get Talos working with a Nat Router for a bit on Hetzner VMs. If you have anything that looks roughly like a guide I'd love to follow it.

I've been struggling with the private network for two days now... there are various problems and I'm losing track of things. If anyone has a working config, I would be very grateful.

In the meantime, I'll try to narrow down the problem again and will probably open another ticket.

@gecube apologies for very late response, but in general I struggled with getting Talos to come up on boot with the proper network configuration (something akin to this).

Great! Understand there might be some nuance there - I ran into the wall trying to define the network interface here: https://www.talos.dev/v1.6/reference/configuration/v1alpha1/config/#Config.machine.network , but was not able to get it to connect to the NAT instance.
